at 53 years old ,is it advisable fo me to continue my job as an educator ?
my kids are all done with thier chosen career . i plan to run a business too far from my career as a nurse educator .

I agree with the other folks. It truly sounds like you have made up your mind, you just want people to give you a push.
Sorry, Not me. I'm going to take the OPPOSITE track.
If you feel you have done all you can do as an educator, then the answer is yes, do what you want.
HOWEVER, if you are MAKING A DIFFERENCE in the lives of your students, the answer is NO
We have too few educators that make a difference. all you ever hear about are the teachers that do something stupid.

Well, I don't think you've given me a lot of information with which to answer this question, but if you're ready to give up that job and take on another, then you need to do it before you change your mind. Strike while the iron's hot!
