First of all, CONGRATS!!! This is GREAT news! :)

Second? Don't go out and buy every book on pregnancy and parenting, you'll just drive yourself (and your wife) nuts. Having a baby is literally what our bodies were made for. Yes, she will be emotional. Yes, she will pee ALL the time. Yes, she will have food cravings. Every woman is different, there is no clear cut advice that anyone can give you. Besides, for the rest of your life, you are going to be getting unsolicited advice about the pregnancy and parenting... just live life and do the best you know how and your little family will be great! Good luck to you and your wife and I wish you a happy, healthy little baby!

Its not just the first 3 months but the entire 9 months -

Her hormones are going to be all over the place - she will have good days and bad days just roll with them

When she's having a bad day just do as told -

Offer to rub her back and her feet as much as possible - esp. when she hits the 3rd trimester

When she's sick and throwing up be there to hold her hair back -

Invest in some sour candies and Ginger Ale don't ask me how but these two combined are amazing at combating morning sickness

Do as much research as you can! Read alot of baby books! Remind her how beautiful she is especially later on when she may not be feeling pretty or sexy! Love her and support her thru it all :) Good luck

Just say "yes honey" and be sympathetic when she is emotional. But also...be exctied with her! Man, I have 3 kids and wish I had been more excited each time!!!
