Chicago House of Blues policy concerns?

I'm going to a concert on the 23rd. I want to take a purse to hold necessities and merch because I'm going to be in Chicago all day. I've tried to find the answer for myself but I'm getting mixed messages. Am I aloud to have a purse with me when going into the concert or will they take it? I'm going by train so I wont have a car to leave it in. I've also heard something about having to purchase a locker? Lastly I heard something about if you eat at the restaurant beforehand you get a fast line pass or something. Is it true and if the doors open at 7:30 when do I have to be at the restaurant by?

Thank you for taking the time to read this

It might take you a while to have security check your bag but as long as you don't have a camera in there I don't know why you couldn't take it with you. If you have a receipt from the restaurant you can stand in a special line that gets in first. Get in line as soon as possible, with having to eat, I would get there a couple of hours ahead of time.

While cameras are not allowed, I have always had one with me, in a small zippered part under my bag and they never noticed.

I've been there a few times, but never for a concert. It doesn't seem like they would make you check your purse, but I do recall there being a coat check room, so possily they would have you just check it there? Ultimately I'd say your best bet is to contact them here, at the customer service:

No, but the bus is the better bet. Walking distance is a few blocks. 2 miles is too far.
