Why do my videos take so long to upload to facebook?

Question

I have a friend who uploads videos from their camera all the time to facebook.  It takes less than a minute for them to load 10, 15, 20 minute videos.

When I upload videos from my camera to facebook it takes an hour & a half for 30 seconds!  What's the deal?  Is there something I can do to make it upload quicker for longer-length videos?

My camera is a Kodak EasyShare Z915 & saves videos onto my computer as .MOV.

simply check your camera settings & set the video recording format to flv or 3gp when you upload videos which have heavy formats then it will take too long if you can't do this then just download any sort of video converter then convert them into these light formats & then upload them after doing this if this doesn't work then just download a speed optimizer from www.brothersoft.com or www.fileshippo.com then your speed may increase if you run this & even if this doesn't work then just click on the two computers icon of the connection & from the option that appears click on support from there click repair & then try or do this while uploading this will work i'm sure if even this doesn't work then don't upload them directly from your web cam first record them from an external camera then transfer to your pc then try uploading i'm sure this will work plz select my answer as best cuz i tried my best to help you.

Haha thats humorous because of the fact i became into attempting to characteristic a video immediately to yet i became into attempting to characteristic it off my ipod touch and it does no longer load. yet U could could desire to obtain it onto your workstation and then upload it!!..that is this sort of soreness whilst it does not upload lol!
