i cant figure out how to empty the trash on my macbook?

can anyone tell me where i can find the trash bin?? i've looked all over. also, my computer keeps saying my startup disk is full. how else can i free up space on that disk?

    Close all programs. On the top left of the screen click 'Finder', then click 'empty trash'.

    CCleaner is absolutely useless, a Mac wont even recognize it.

    You can just download Ccleaner and it will empty the trash plus history and stuff all at once. You can also use Ccleaner to choose what programs run up at start up and which ones don't.
