Questions about college [SAT, Sending scores etc.]?

I took the SAT for the first time [600 Reading - 390 Math- 550 Writing]. I am taking it again in January but I'm worried it will lessen my chances even more. I have my sights set on IUPUI or Purdue West Lafayette for pharmacy. My math score is pretty bad so I'm nervous about sending them. One of my friends is sending her scores and then taking it again and resending them. Is that a good idea? I'm worried that if I get rejected can I send the new scores in and will they reconsider?

By the way my current high school GPA is 3.0 [surgery during freshmen year messed me up and I explained it on the space provided in the app.] but since the 3rd trimester of sophomore year I've gotten no lower than a B-.

Thank you for your time and effort!

I would really appreciate some opinions on this~

It depends when the admission deadline is. If you're a senior and taking the SAT in January will get the results to them after the admission deadline, then they won't reconsider if they already rejected you by that point. Definitely retake it if the deadline is in February or later, because if you do better on it this time they will look at the highest scores. They will probably understand if your GPA sunk because of a medical reason, but I don't know much about those schools so I really can't say what your chances are of getting in.
