What activities to do in Lake Tahoe (injured knee)?

My family is heading up to Lake Tahoe (Boreal Ski Resort) next week to go skiing/snowboarding, but since I have an injured knee, I can't go skiing. I don't really want to gamble the entire day, nor do i really want to use the spa. Are there any other activities or things to do nearby? Thanks.

Tahoe is great like that, because you're not going to be bored out of your brains not skiing. There's lots of little villages around the place that have lots of shops. Shop til you drop, really.

Asides from that there are loads of fun things to do around the place, you just have to find them.

Well first of all sorry to hear that...but don't let the injured knee bored you. You can actually do some sled and watch some cool stunt to the skiers. Go to the place where being considered as Utah’s gateway to the array of hot spots and recreational areas, Salt Lake City has become a popular vacation destination for both the local and foreign guests. Aside from the scenic national parks, the city is also known for having world-class ski facilities. In 2002, Salt Lake City hosted the Olympic Winter Games wherein skiers from the different parts of the world gathered to race in this prestigious competition set in the “greatest snow on earth”.
