It all depends on the teacher and what the absence was actually for. Say you cut class, then no make up test for you, but however your Mother took you to the Local Museum as she had the day off and it is not a recurring thing then most likely they will allow you to make it up. Any unexcused absence means the teacher does not have to let you make up the test.

Dude. provided that i'm a senior, I ditch all the time. I infrequently ditched previously this 12 months. I even have 6 unexcused absences in each type, and eight in my portray type. that is basically for this semester...

depends on the teacher and class. if your in high school, teachers will still allow you to make up tests; but if your in college thats a whole nother ballpark, most require you to have documented reason for an excused absence.

Get a doctors note if you can, or even if you didn't go to the doctor that day, tell your doctor what happened and they usually write you a note (and do a helpful check too). If it's not medical, like a funeral, just tell him what happens, make sure you can document things that happened for a really strict teacher.

um, according to my knowledge and my past schools, your teacher isn't supposed to let you make it up since its an UNexcused absence, but I do know that sometimes your teachers let it slide. but it depends on your teacher i guess.

You need to discuss it with your teacher, but most likely they'll let you make it up.
