Someone help me solve a sizing issue?

So I just started seeing this guy and I'm really into him except for one thing--his package is so long and thick that when he's in there it's super painful. I've been abnormally tight my whole life and have had issues with every other guy I've been with, even the more average ones, but this is kinda over the top. I do really like him and want to keep seeing him so is there any way to make it more comfortable for me? He feels pretty bad that it hurt so much and I just want this to work out...
