I ran over a raccoon and now my steering is difficult?

I ran over a raccoon on my way to work last night, and immediately me steering began to fight me. Just turning, it's just really hard to turn the wheel but I force it. I imagine I shouldn't have done that, but I needed to get to work. At first, I thought the raccoon was stuck in between my wheel and my car (ewww) but I didn't see anything.

There seems to be nothing too wrong with my car, except the center piece to my rim (basically decoration) seems to have fallen out.

Any thoughts?

    Well you are going to need to get some work done, sorry. I can think the alignment of the wheel is off.

    i bet the coon is in worse shape ! maybe you knocked the front end out of alignment !
