Jesus is dead they say? Hmm...?

If Jesus is dead, as some claim, then how come the Pharisees didn't produce His dead corpse? How come they didn't parade the dead body of Jesus through the streets? They hated Him with a passion and wanted Him and His cause dead. So why didn't they parade Him dead through the streets and nip Christianity off at the bud? They knew where He was buried. All they had to do was go get His dead corpse and parade it through the streets. Voila! No Christianity!

That didn't happen because there was no dead body to parade.

I expect logical answers not "Well, uh Jesus sucks eggs!" and no red herrings: "Uh the Bible is full o contradictions!"

Oh and if this gets deleted, like the other one, it will only prove that Atheists have NO answer and are being cowards. There's nothing wrong with saying, "I don't have an answer."

Update 2:

Let's think about this. The disciples had ran away in the Garden when Jesus was being arrested. They hid behind lock doors because they were afraid. Jesus is dead and buried. A watch is set. Trained Roman soldiers are standing guard watching the tomb. They have their armor and weapons. Now which is more likely to have happened?

A. The disciples storm bravely onto the scene holding their fishing nets and demanding: "Give us the body of Jesus now!" The Roman Soldiers cower in fear, "Whatever you say! Please don't hurt us with your nets! Have mercy!" and run off like little whiny babies while the fishermen with their bulging biceps remove the heavy boulder off the tomb and take Jesus' body elsewhere.

B. The disciples cautiously approach the tomb. There they see the Roman soldiers with their spears and swords. They approach to grab the body. A Roman soldier sees them and kills them. Having no experience in fighting and no weapons, the disciples cannot def

Update 3:

the disciples defeat the trained soldiers.

Also keep in mind that they were hiding out of fear behind closed doors. John 20:19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

Also the fact that if the soldiers had failed, they were under penalty of death. Not to mention something else to think about: How come NO ONE has ever found the dead bones of Jesus? That would be another way to prove Jesus never rose...produce His dead bones. However, no one has ever produced a dead body nor bones.

Most Atheists remain in full denial when it comes to Jesus.

Apart from the New Testament, there's also non-christian resources outside of the bible that also speak and confirm of this Jesus...

The first-century Roman Tacitus, who is considered one of the more accurate historians of the ancient world, mentioned superstitious “Christians” (from Christus, which is Latin for Christ), who suffered under Pontius Pilate during the reign of Tiberius. Suetonius, chief secretary to Emperor Hadrian, wrote that there was a man named Chrestus (or Christ) who lived during the first century (Annals 15.44).

Pliny the Younger, in Letters 10:96, recorded early Christian worship practices including the fact that Christians worshiped Jesus as God and were very ethical, and he includes a reference to the love feast and Lord’s Supper.

The Babylonian Talmud (Sanhedrin 43a) confirms Jesus' crucifixion on the eve of Passover and the accusations against Christ of practicing sorcery and encouraging Jewish apostasy.

Under Herod, and during the reign of Tiberius, Pontius Pilate condemned Christ to die, (Tacitus)

Christ was crucified on the eve of Passover, (the Talmud)

His crucifixion was accompanied by three hours of unexplained darkness, (Thallus)

Christ's disciples, "reported that he had appeared to them three days after his crucifixion and that he was alive;", (Josephus)

His disciples took to the habit of meeting on a fixed day of the week and took their name "Christians" from him, (Pliny)

They gave worship to Christ "as to a god", (Pliny)

They bound themselves over to abstaining from wicked deeds, fraud, theft, adultery, and lying, (Pliny)

Christians held a contempt for death and were known for a voluntary self-devotion, (Lucian)

Christians believed themselves all brothers from the moment of their conversion, (Lucian)

Christians lived after Christ's laws, (Lucian)

Christians were willingly tortured and even executed for their refusal to deny their belief in the resurrection and deity of Jesus Christ. (Josephus, Tacitus, Pliny, Lucian)

Then we have all the Gnostic writings (The Gospel of Truth, The Apocryphon of John, The Gospel of Thomas, The Treatise on Resurrection, etc.) that all mention Jesus.

In fact, we can almost reconstruct the gospel just from early non-Christian sources: Jesus was called the Christ (Josephus), did so-called “magic” or "miracles", led Israel into new teachings, and was hanged on Passover for them (Babylonian Talmud) in Judea (Tacitus), but claimed to be the son of God and would return (Eliezar), which his followers believed, worshipping Him as God (Pliny the Younger).

So we just can't confirm if he really is the son of God or if he can do miricles?

Well perhaps the greatest evidence that Jesus did exist or was probably the son of God is the fact that literally thousands of Christians in the first century A.D., including the twelve apostles, that were willing to give their lives for believing in Him. That has got to say something, if you go and read how those people give up their life for what they believe in. Also according to that the body disappeared from the cave it was placed, the resurrection of Jesus.

So we can tell from that, even without using the bible, Jesus was real, his abilities unknown but thought to be of magic or miracle, and he had thousands of happy followers willing to die and be tortured just for not denying Him as their Lord. He was a known healer and teached people morals/beliefs. His death was real, this resurrection remains unknown - but the body did disappeared.

It seems even evolutionists such as Richard Dawkins can't deny Jesus. Even he considers him as a great intellient person, but says and I quote 'ohh he must of been Atheist'. Slaps forehead, history fails for the blindsided.

Edit: Jayz - I believe in God and micro-evolution (adaptions), however not the evolution theory (apeman, etc) - i keep the two separate, sorry for any confusion referencing evolution.

Did you read your paragraph at all? A person would assume that you had a more atheistic stance just because you are stating that there was no dead body. However, you go on to state that "it will only prove that Atheists have NO answer". This leads me to believe that you are under the presupposition that there was a deity in the form of a man named Jesus. There's no substantial evidence to suggest that this man existed or that he was executed by Pontius Pilate. I could care less whether or not you think my answer is illegitimate because I see things as they are, not what I would want to think they are.

Mormons say he'll be coming to Missouri for Easter.

dload: Not all Evolutionists are Atheists in fact most of the most famous scientists in history believed deeply in God it's just that they wanted to separate fact from fiction and that's what science and the study of evolution is all about. I believe in God and I believe in evolution and there are many like me. everything evolves including Christianity, what you believe in is your pastor as your God. It's not a black or white issue as brainwashing religion or Atheism may say it is. I think both sides of the argument are crazy and are missing the mark.

Because if he was real, maybe his disciples beat them to it. Or maybe it was just a story, and was just written that way. Even the story tells us that there were rumors that his disciples took the body away.
