How can I delete this item on Sims 3?
I have a backyard slide on Sims and I want to delete it, but it says it's "in use" when it's clearly not.
Is there a way to delete it?
Please and thanks!
I've tried having the Sim who is supposedly using it use it again and that didn't work.

You can to make your sim use the slide again and once they're done using the object, you can try again to delete it. If that doesn't work, then unfortunately you'll be stuck with it until you either move to a different house or delete the house later on

I've had this before.
Easiest way is to turn on testing cheats (Ctrl+Shift+C, then enter "testingcheatsenabled true" minus the quote marks), shift-click on the item in question, and pick Object-Delete.

I had the same problem! I could only fix it by moving out to a different house then moving back in to the house.
