I need a name (with a meaning) for two characters?

I've been looking all over, but I cannot seem to find any names that suit these two characters I've created.

The first (and most important) is rather dark - she's quite emotionless, cold, sadistic and is very able to conceal herself in the shadows, along with being able to move at a breakneck speed and strike at such paces too (assassin-like). Her design is based on a bird, so any names to do with avian-related things will be taken into consideration too (flight, wings, feathers, air, sky...).

The second character could be described as the first's companion or 'pet'. This time it isn't just based around a bird, it /is/ a bird (a large, phoenix-like bird). It doesn't have much of a personality, so its name should probably be based around its appearance. It is black and white, although it has a shadowy, rather mystical appearance and so can be seen as a 'walking shadow'.

If anyone can assist me in this, I'd be grateful, but if not, I'll probably have to resort to creating a name without a meaning.

Firstly, for the girl, some names at could be used could be Wren - A type of bird, small and dark coloured. Very swift, and also a bird name that isn't too birdy.

Her companion or pet could be Parodia - Latin for illusion, Sezen - Turkish, the feeling of suspicion, or Sayeh - Persian, meaning Shade or Shadow.

It's not usually good to seek out a name with the perfect meaning for a character, especially if it takes more than a few days to find. It's one of the traits of a Mary Sue, which, everybody knows, is bad. Find a nice name that works, and if you're going to choose one with a meaning appropriate for your character, don't spend too long thinking about it.
