What would be the best grammar in this situation?
Talking about Mendel's experiments, would the sentence go:
- Round peas are dominant OVER wrinkled, or
- Round peas are dominant TO wrinkled?
I have to use the word "dominant", because it's a key word in Mendel's Laws of Genetics.

Dominant is always OVER something or someone.

I would not use the word "dominant."
Perhaps---preferred or superior, Round peas are very much preferred than wrinkled
Round peas are superior to wrinkled .

I would say that this is a matter of preference. I think that OVER sounds better in this situation but someone else might say the opposite.
