I Have a Bible Question.?

Will someone show me where the Bible says,

"Believe in Me or I will torture you forever!"

Atheists say that is what the Bible teaches, so I was wondering where they got that from in the Bible?

Anyone may answer.

So what branch of Christianity do you follow? Most teach hell for unbelievers.

Yes, I'm aware that there is Biblical support for all different views on the question. However, preachers who say there is no hell for unbelievers tend to be called "Not True Christians."

First of all, why would our loving perfect God create a hell to let people be tormented for all eternity? That is not in harmony with what the bible tells us. Second just like the scripture Romans 6:23 says " For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord" So when we die, we have pay for ALL of our sins. So when a person dies they pay for the all of their sins with....their life. And if there is some painful reason why they do not believe in God, he surely sees that. He feels the pain as well that caused them to not believe in him. He wants people to live the way he originally intended, happy and perfect forever. Not damn them to burn in hell. And he is going to make sure that the earth goes back to the way he originally intended.

    IT doesn't...

The gospel message is directed only towards sinners (those who already deserve punishment) Jesus himself said I call not the righteous but sinners to repentance)... That message is even though you deserve condemnation I am offing you a pardon.

The actual Biblical Message is quite different than the atheist spin -- but then again there is a reason atheists are among the least trusted groups - they are the most dishonest.

But the cowardly, the UNBELIEVING, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.-revelation 21:8

Matthew 25:46 calls it eternal punishment.

John the baptist says they will burn with unquenchable fire. (Matthew 3:12)

Hi, the Bible teaches the truth about God. It does n ot teach the religious lies of immortal soul and eternal torment in hell. It teaches that God is love.

A Bible-study can help you and atheists.

The Bible does not say that.

All punishment is to live outside the mercy, love, care, and holiness of GOD.

When one is in punishment the justice of GOD is seen and the true state of a unbeliever is revealed. It is not a pleasant place.

Oh and by the way. GOD sent his only begotten Son Jesus Christ into the world to save sinners like myself to be given GOD's mercy through the forgiveness of sin. And to live our life with GOD in his loving and caring nature.

So it is man's choice to either accept forgiveness for sin and live a holy life for GOD or to live outside of GOD'S will and purpose. And if one chooses to either way now on earth, then they will be with GOD or without GOD's presence after their life is over with.

    It's just that simple.

The bible says the opposite of that..."Now if it is bad in YOUR eyes to serve Jehovah, choose for yourselves today whom YOU will serve," Joshua 1:15

Bible does not put it quite so bluntly, but in reality, that is the bottom line. If you don't believe that Jesus IS God, you will not make it to Heaven.

    Matthew 25

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the ETERNAL FIRE prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ 44 Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ 45 Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.’ 46 And these will go away into ETERNAL PUNISHMENT, but the righteous into eternal life.”
