gopro hero 1 weird clicking sound?

I need advice asap. I was recording today and for some reason, with both the waterproof and non waterproof backing, I have this weird clicking background sound in my videos. I had my camera mounted right beside my license plate with the suction cup mount. I don't know what could possibly be making that sound. Please help. Thanks.

Update:

I just did a test this morning and found out that when I mounted it onto my sunroof with the non waterproof backing and accelerated, there was no clicking sound so I'm guessing that the clicking sound is caused by the additional amount of vibration caused by being mounted on the exterior of the car and adding onto the wind noise but i'm still hoping there's a fix for this

I'm guessing that it's a combination of vibration and wind noise, the inbuilt mic is quite sensitive and i've watched a few of these 'extreme cameras' recordings on you tube and wasn't impressed by the audio...

...In all honesty I would 'dub over' the recorded audio on most recordings by 'narrating' or adding music in an editing programme...if I was doing something serious i'd use an external microphone, which wouldn't be practical when the camera is mounted to a vehicle and is travelling at speed...

...as AW Boater suggests, try the GoPro forums, this is a common issue and i'm sure they must have figured out some way to approach it...

    ...Good Luck..!

    Gopro Hero Sound

It's strange where some of the sounds come from with these cameras. These goody sounds can be anything from a loose mount (GoPro has a white rubber silencer to prevent this), to even rattles coming from movement of internal components such as the LCD screen.

Do a search on YouTube for GoPro rattles and you will find many home-remedys for fixing these things.
