Yahoo Answers is shutting down on May 4th, 2021 (Eastern Time) and the Yahoo Answers website is now in read-only mode. There will be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services, or your Yahoo account. You can find more information about the Yahoo Answers shutdown and how to download your data on this help page.
What have they done to Yahoo Answers?
The nice easy green layout has disappeared, to be replaced by this useless blue and black layout where I can't find anything any more. Do other people have the same problems using it? I am going to give up and go somewhere else.

Yeah it's shite I agree, when you thumb up/down you have to click it like 5 times before anything happens, questions show as being deleted until you refresh the page, can't add a comment to a resolved question, it's all gone down the pan. Let us know where you're going, I might follow

Yes, most, if not all, have the same. But... stick it out. EVERYTHING we had before is here. A few more clicks here and there, and maybe not in the obvious places... but everything is here.
Most things you want to find are in the links on the left. The most important being the "Answers Home" link. That's where you'll find all your questions and answers, your watch list, and if you click "All" over on the right, not only q's & a's, etc., but all your network's activity as well.
Then, also on the left, you can click "More" to view more categories.
And more familiar Answer's links when you click the "About" link.
When you click on a category, the sub-categories are all listed in that box at the top of the page.
When you thumbs up answers, you will know who gave that thumbs up. (you'll see all that and your latest activity also at "Answers Home".) But as always, no one will know who gives a thumbs down.
If you can't find something... ask. A lot of us are getting the hang of things. Someone is sure to be able to help you out.

I have the same problem, it looks nice but it's god awful to use. It's been like this for a while now and I guess we just have to deal with it.

Yes they are messing about. Mine went blue, but has returned to green. Lord knows what they are up to.
