I accidentally flagged a question as abuse, intended for a different question that had to be reported. Is there a way I can undo this?
Is there a way for me to undo or take back a flag from a question that didn't deserve it or to alert Y!A admins to disregard my flagging? The one it was intended for was being flagged for multiple repeat postings (12+ times of the same thing) but I didn't pay attention when I went to the wrong tab in my browser and ended up flagging a good question.

it's not a problem if you only reported it
if your report caused the post to "insta-drop" then you should email the Answers Team to let them know you made a mistake (they may never read your email as they get thousands a day but it's a goodwill gesture and your only recourse)
y_answrs_team@yahoo.com (missing 'e' is correct)
reports that are not deleted are sent to Customer Care (not YA admins), which is grossly understaffed so they may never see it - if they do, they will know it's not a violation and they will not delete it
this one mistake will have a negligible effect on your trust rating
I have accidentally reported the wrong post and emailed staff who put things back a few times, other times, no response to my email
to those who say it's impossible to report the wrong post, it is when the page jumps just as you click on the flag!
