Could this be a meth lab or some other drug-related process?

I live in a condo. The units mirror one another...my neighbor's shower backs mine. For five days straight now his shower has been on. I asked maintenance yesterday to see if there was a problem. Worried because I hadn't heard back, I knocked on his door this morning to check in on him. He acted real weird and it freaked me out so I left. I KNOW his shower is running, I've been here long enough to know. So, why would someone do this? Is this part of making illicit drugs?

    Your imagination is working overtime. For the record, unless there was a water leak that could damage your unit, you have ZERO right to be informed if maintenance even check on HIS unit. For all you know, he has trouble sleeping and uses a recording of a waterfall to mask other noises. He probably freaked out because he thinks YOU are stalking him.
