How do i fix my bipolar and social anxiety?

I've struggled with these for 6 years now and each year they get worse. I have a few months out of the year where I feel completely normal and 1 or 2 months out of the year where I feel amazing. The rest of the year I'm clutching my gun in bed just staring at the wall jumping from one reason to keep living to another. I've tried every med and I found the best ones for me but eventually raising my dose doesn't work. I've been to therapy and cbt for years, but it just makes me more anxious and unstable. They say I have treatment resistant bipolar ll. They doctor basically your I'm ******, but I can work on my social anxiety. The only problem is therapy hasn't helped and my meds don't really do much for anxiety. Are there any extreme techniques or classes of any non traditional treatments

I just want to say that reading this has helped me to realize I am not alone. I struggle with GAD and OCD. I don't know how bi polar disorder feels but I know that it is probably debilitating just like anxiety. Maybe you need to find another therapist and see if they can help. You're a somebody with a huge plan in life. God can also help you through this if you just talk to him. Thank you for your post, as I am struggling too. It feels good to not be alone.

Something which might be useful is for you to keep a mood log if you like that you can take with you when you have an appointment with your specialist. This should help identify the critical issues that you might be experiencing during the times when you are feeling low or flat.

Once this has been clearly discussed with the psychiatrist/psychologist/therapist it should give them a better idea of what actions should be taken to improve your mental state.

Stay happy, stay calm and best of luck. Hope this helps!
