i get apple tv on my new phone  how do i get it to tv set?

    Unless you have an Apple TV box, you cannot cast from your iPhone/iPad to your TV. 

    But what you can now do is buy a far cheaper Roku or Amazon Fire stick and access Apple TV+ via the apps now available on those devices, so no iPhone/iPad required at all. 

    Or check whether your smart TV has the correct Apple TV+ app availability: at the moment only certain Vizio, Sony and LG models are compatible. Others may follow.
