Not at all! You do you and don't let anyone stop you from doing or collecting something you love.

I don't think so at all. Make sure you do your homework and find ones that are collectable, vintage, Holiday Exclusives and such. I know the everyday ones you find at the store have some really fun ones. Handicapped, job specific and more. You can find ones that perhaps will be a nice gift for someone that resembles them and so on. Have fun!

You are not harming anybody by collecting Barbies, so go ahead and keep on collecting them!

I am a huge fan of Barbie myself: i collect them and oftentimes even play with them.

Every day i do their hair and dress them up.

And i am turning 28 in two months. 

The funny thing is that i used to hate them until i was about 8... i was 9 years old when i started liking them.

But there is no age limit for Barbies.

The term 'age appropriate ' actually refers to the 'minimum age ', in fact,  for a toy, and not to a 'maximum age ' for it.

As long as you just collect them, and not turn it into some kind of sex fetish, I think you're good :)

Read that. Barbie means a lot of different things to different people at different stages in their development. Barbie also went through, & is still going through changes.

Thanks for the question. It made me think; Barbie (Mattel) is always up & happy. Avengers (Mattel) go through MANY emotions & developmental stages. That makes me think I should introduce my old bunch of Barbie's to Thor, Hulk & the rest.

Now I'm thinking better to buy stock in Mattel than invest in tangible items.

short answer: yes. but dont let being 'weird" stop you from doing what makes you happy. im a 30 year old man who still collects pokemon cards. i know its not the same as barbie but i enjoy it and screw anyone that tells me otherwise

Yes, unless you just barbecue their heads.

Old Barbie dolls are worth a lot of money.  If you start a collection now, it will be worth a lot when you are older.
