What causes a car to cut off Everytime you fillup?

The car is a dodge ram with a hemmey or something like that.  It cuts off shortly after filling up.

    Over-fiilling the tank and  contaminating the evaporation control system, or a fault in the evsp control system itself.  When you fill up, don't try to squeeze extra fuel into the tank when the pump aurtomatically shuts off.

    you shouldnt leave the engine running while you're filling up. especially if it's gasoline.

    You may be over-filling.  Or the breather above the tank is not open.
