Why are there so many election trolls, can we get yahoo answers back?

We should start getting it back in 7 days. It will be nice!

you can report them. it is the same with some who answer every question and not one person can know every answer because they are not perfect

Report violations when you see them. If more users would report violations (all over the site) then yes, the quality users could get YA 'back' to a more useful and meaningful site.

There are a lot of people trolling politics, because it's an election year and there are a lot of people who are very passionate about their candidate or their feelings about the candidate(s) they dislike, or they just enjoy stirring up people so are trolling for amusement whether they actually mean what they post, or not. 

Answers are not the problem.  Virtually all of Yahoo's own articles are college-dorm trolling exercises, as Yahoo shills for the Dems 24/7 in the run up to the election.

Give it another 10 days, and then the category will be dead as a doornail. 

Then all the action shifts back over to the POLITICS category. 

as far as getting Yahoo back.........not a chance.........Yahoo gave up any sort of moderation 2 years ago, and now the trolls run the place.

This happens every four years.  You just have to wait it out.  Half of them will disappear by year's end, and the other half will slowly go back to asking questions about women's liberation and transgender individuals.

And four years from now we'll do it all again.
