Seriously~~ are you that uptight that you can't cut loose and have some fun with a trainset? Why does it have to be that once you reach a certain age you can't enjoy something? I would love to have a train set. I have always wanted one, and my dad always said that girls shouldn't play with boys toys. Just enjoy it and get over yourself.

There is actually no age to play with toys. 

Even adults can play with them.

I play Barbie and Disney princess dolls everyday and i am going to turn 28 lol.

I am a preschooler teacher, and really good at my job. 

The children i teach to absolutely love me....and i love them back just as much, of course.

And i pay my bills, i live alone (well,with two friends, but my family does not live with me so it still qualifies) and i am a very responsible person.

So, playing toys does not affect me.

Grown adults can be into model trains, same as they can be into Legos. My kids went to a pediatrician who loved model trains and had one in his waiting room. You honestly think one toy is okay for a "grown adult" but the other isn't? C'mon. 

Play with it like a man 

Let him play with it. That's probably why he bought it.
