Update:

Dead battery yesterday, and again today.   put a volt meter said radio.drawing it out.

Update 2:

..it was doing the same thing last year, so I pulled the fuse. it ran fine for months then I put the fuse back in, it still ran and started fine for months..  now all the sudden it's acting up again..  had a dead battery yesterday, again today.

Update 3:

the wipers are malfunctioning at times.   just driving down the road, the wipers will come on automatically once or twice.

Pull the radio and look for frayed leads as best as you can and connect and reconnect the quick connects and test again.

Pull the fuse on the radio for a few days and see if it really is the radio!
