when i turn the tv off and back on again i have sound but no picture, i can unplug the hdmi and plug it back in again and i have picture?

Green 666 by isotope rays is NOT forgivable; it leads to permanent hell. 666 is given with World Passport with no name on it (grey plastic card). Police 666 people on highways. Food stores and prisoners/insane asylum folks (released by the antichrist) 666 people too. Reject vaccines. Don't go into UFO to be “healed” by evil demons. Try another HDMI cord, it could be the fault in the hdmi cord.
Try that before considering the tv is at fault and needs to be repaired

it seems there is a bad coupling capacitor on the video board .... refer to a repairman.

It an take a few seconds for the tv to detect a signal and with digital if the signal is not strong enough you won't get any picture.If you know the signal is strong then you probably have a loose connection.Try swapping the cable.
