k5 blazer rust reaire ?

Hello  classic car guys, i have question, I have 1985 chevy k5 blazer 6.2,  I'm replacing  driver side metal floor  and  driver  side  metal  floor because rust,  lets say I made 2 floors where each floor would be 1 solid peace of metal  would that defect the value ?  or should i just buy patch panels  that are same design and shape as original floors?

You're truck is likely in the Blue Book value range of $500 or less so there's almost nothing you can do to lower the value.

Buy a one-piece floor overlay. They make them it's a piece of sheet metal that you lay over the old sheet metal after you have torn out the carpet and have bear sheet metal and have cleaned that bear sheet metal and painted it with Rust-Oleum. You lay the overlay right on top it's even got a hole for the gear shifter.

After you've laid your overlaid down you use a pop rivet gun to pop rivet it so that it doesn't move around then you lay down your new carpet over it.

Buy replacement panels that look like the originals and have them pofessionally installed. It is better for the value.

It will not matter.  Just fix it.  Put a new Berber carpet.
