I accidently left my keys in the ignition for about 3hrs. Can it cause any harm? ?

I accidently left the keys in the ignition of my 2016 Chevy Equinox for about 3hrs. Can is cause any harm? The car was off too.

    Umm, nope. Some people leave their car keys in the car in the ignition lock  when they park it in the garage so they always know where they are.

    Was anything left 'on' ?  If not , then your car never noticed.

    Start car.  Car starts, battery is good.  No crank, no start, get a jump.
