Where am I headed?

Question

So i don't normally dream. This one night I'd been awake for over 50 hours, as soon as i fall asleep i see this. I walked across these green hills and approached a white, empty billboard. I saw a gilded white door but it was jammed. I wedged it open and saw myself on the other side. What does this mean???

First of all you were exhausted, and so you immediately fell asleep and were given a dream where you saw both your conscious world and your subconscious world.  Even though you say you don't dream, you do.  Everyone dreams, except dead people and those who are brain dead, and I know you are neither one of these.  Your own mind is trying to wake you up to the reality of your own dreamworld, so you can see both sides of your own being.
