Scotland leaves the UK but can't join the EU until its economy meets certain criteria*.  UK decides to re-join the EU. Scotland stuffed?

*EU rules state that the fiscal deficit for a country to join must be no more than 3%.  Scotland's deficit is  7%.  This will mean years of austerity.

Update:

1  Lots of people have changed their mind on Brexit question

2  £350m p.a. for NHS is not going to happen

3  A future Labour government (ha ha) wouild lean towards re-joining

4  A drop in GDP will require a reassessment.
