Would Game of Thrones benefit from an Evangelion-style alternate ending?
Now we all know the final season of Game of Thrones sucked, but do you think if not adopting a format like Evangelion nowhere a different ending is made to replace the old one via feature films that goes in a more preferable direction to conclude the story?

I think thats a great idea, but I doubt they'd do it. Maybe I'm wrong but the company lost the good will of all its fans and probably wouldn't want to risk being mocked and paying for a redo. But I do think its a great idea and I'd consider checking it out.

At this point, fans are expecting a better ending from the books, and it is becoming increasingly unlikely that the final two books of A Song of Ice and Fire will be published at all because of the author's procrastination, old age, and writer's block.
