that not a rat, poor thing must was suffer  and didnt had no foods . you shouldnt throw it out in the trash. if its dead . better to put in a small box and give him o her a grave outside of your back yard . killing animals are god creatures pets.

It's not a rat.  The nose is too short and the tail is too thin.  It's just a little mouse.  Possibly a field mouse.
