I don't know if you're needy or if he's just not into you as much as you are into him. Try and find things to do with your time, take up a hobby, make something, contact your friends. A person in a relationship shouldn't rely wholly on their partner for company, you should have other interests separate from the relationship. Take up a hobby like painting or arts and crafts or learn a musical instrument. If he's being distant, perhaps he's not the one for you. 

After reading your update, it seems he's not in a committed relationship with you. Don't be a doormat. When a bf acts that way, it's time to call it quits with him.
