No it will not Effect your Email Service only YA will be Shut down all other Yahoo Services will Remain Including Email

No. The upcoming shutdown of Answers will have absolutely no impact on your Yahoo account or the rest of their other services you normally use. It's no different from Group's closure last December and the termination of Messenger a few years back. The closure of the previous services hasn't impacted anyone's Yahoo accounts at all.

Per the bold text in the banner at the top of EVERY YA page "There will be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services, or your Yahoo account."
