Transmission Failure ?

The transmission on my 2017 Hyundai Tuscon Sport(Turbo) had to be replaced at 26,000 miles. Is this a problem with all turbo models or just with Hyundai?

The repair was FREE, wasn't it! HYUNDAI and KIA have the BEST warranty HANDS DOWN! IT is NOT normal for this to HAAPEN! The TRANS was SUPPIED by ZF company of Germany! They have 27 PLANTS in the USA and maybe MORE by now! They supply CADDY, and LINCOLN and nearly ALL the EUROEPAN car makers including VOLVO and SAAB. >>>USE ONLY PENNZOIL ULTRA PLATINUM in the ENGINE as the TURBO will get RUINED by VALVOLINE and other CHEAPER WAX and ASH based engine oils! PENNZOIL give a warranty to 500,000 miles on the ENGINE! IT is AMAZING an it will keep your SENSORS and CONVERTERS and O2 CLEAN as NEW! IT is made from NATURAL GAS and NOT CRUDE OIL or ASH like VALVOLINE IS! You can contact ZF directly and register a COMPLANT! or go to CARCOMPLAINTS.com for MORE info! IT is a RARITY!

It could be just this car.

If you are the original owner, it's under warranty, so what does it matter the cause?

    Get it fixed, move on.

If you are the 2nd owner = oh well, that's what you get for purchasing a hyundai where warranties aren't transferable.  I hope you bought a secondary warranty for it

The turbo has nothing to do with transmission failures. Take it to the dealer. With that low a mileage you should still get warranty coverage to fix or replace the transmission. many Asian car manufacturers are having problems with their CVT transmissions and have extended warranties on them.

It's likely just because people who buy the "sport" model tend to be hard on transmissions

Hyundais have improved their reliability in the last few years.  You likely have a lemon.  It might be a good idea to sell the car right after the warranty expires.
