  • Temporal Lobe Epilepsy (TLE) ?

I am 18 years old and a female. Had a few recent episodes of de ja vu and random loss of appetite, nausea, feelings of nervousness. I assumed that the latter three symptoms were due to anxiety but on researching TLE I am wondering whether these symptoms are connected to my de ja vu episodes?

Am I being a bit of a hypochondriac or is TLE not an unlikely possibility?

    thanks

  • What to buy 17 year old boy for birthday?

My male friend is turning 17 soon and since he's not a girl bath bombs and bracelets probably won't do the trick. He's very witty but quite mature, I thought about a joke book but most joke books are painfully unfunny. He's got a more sophisticated sense of humour. He loves rugby and is a keen supporter for the local team. Any ideas?

  • Should I take psychology a level?

I have just finished GCSES, I was planning on taking Chemistry, English Lit, Psychology and Maths as an AS for a level next year. The a level results have just come back for my school and the Psychology results were not good, last year was the first year Psychology was introduced into my school as an a level option. I am really interested in Psychology as a subject and possibly as a career someday but I really don t want to spend two years working for a terrible result. Should I still do it?

  • My cats are fighting?

We've had my cats almost a year now from when they were kittens. They're normally inseparable because they're sisters, they sleep together etc. they haven't been let outside properly yet we've just let them out for an hour or two on warm days and they stay in our garden. However last night we had guests over and we didn't realise until later one of them had gotten out, she must have been out there for 2 or 3 hours at least. When we realised we did find her in our garden and brought her back in however the other one has now starting hissing at her. I think it might be a foreign scent she picked up outside which is upsetting the other cat but I'm not sure. The other cat did sniff her and hiss earlier. What do I do? Do I wash my cat? I'm quite worried.

  • Tips for Glastonbury 2015?

So i'm turning 16 in less than a month and last year i sorted out all my glastonbury tickets, i'm all ready for the payment in a few weeks but i am slightly worried. I am so excited for Glastonbury but am conscious that 1000s of people go and its easy to get lost. Any tips for staying safe and enjoying my time there? FYI I do not plan on getting drunk or anything like that.

  • Where to go for Supermoon Eclipse?

So, March 20, Spring Equinox Supermoon Eclipse. I live in Southwest England near Bristol, where can I go that's relatively nearby to get a good view of this spectacular event? Either a specific place or just a general place (hill etc.)

  • Where to get langoustines?

I was in La Rochelle in France and we went to a lane full of very similar cafés/restaurants and ate langoustines on ice and they were amazing! Unfortunately I live in England, are there any restaurants I can go to get the same again? (I live in SouthWest near Bristol)

  • What is the difference between raw and cooked prawns?

I know this sounds like i'm an idiot, but i was thinking in terms of eating them. When I do the grocery shop I come across them both and they're both frozen, you cook them the same way, the only visible difference I can see is that the raw ones are grey in colour. Is there any advantages/disadvantages to buying one over the other?

  • My cat is scared of my Dad?

Our cats are almost a year old now. Normally my cat adores my Dad and will come and sit on his lap and purr but the other day my Dad told me he needed to take her and our other cat to the vet and ended up chasing her around the house. He didn't catch her in the end and rescheduled the vet appointment but now my cat is very scared of my Dad! If he comes anywhere near her she'll dart off, is there anything I can do to ease her anxiety around him?

  • Can my brother take communion?

My brother is a regular church goer at our local church of england. He said he takes communion. (i.e. he takes the bread and wine) I go to a catholic school and I know you can't take communion in the catholic church without having your first communion or being confirmed I'm not quite sure.

He's also been christened as a baby as a methodist but he's never pursued it he's always gone to church of england.

Is he allowed to be taking it?

  • Unique cat names?

I have two female bengal-somali kittens coming in about a month, I've seen them, they're kind of grey and beige with stripes, their personality traits include intelligence and being very active. I kind of liked naming them after a drink or a movie character, I had tonnes of boy names but I couldn't think of any for girls! I want them to be unique, not fluffy or cuddles.

I thought about naming them Gimlet and Kahlua (After drinks) but I'd like some other ideas too.

    Thanks alot!
