Wireless Router ??
Ok. I wondered a) what a wirelss router is, and b) i have tiscali brodband can this actually be used to go wireless. Plz help. Thanks in advance, Jack

wireless router enables the pc or notebook to go roam wireless within a specific range (determined by router).
you need a wireless adapter for a pc, notebooks usually have them built in. with the wireless adapter you can roam wireless.
wireless router sends the data (internet).
wireless adapter recieves and send data back (you recieve the internet).
Instead of sending the ethernet cable from modem to pc directly you send the cable from modem to router.

wireless router is simply, instead of pluging in a Ethernet cord directly into your cpu, you plug it into the router. the router send out a signal, you your cpu can find it and access the internt.
i apologize, this isnt the best explanation in the world. as for part b i dont kno.
