What are your ideas for this statement "English for Unity & Progress" ?

If we allllll spoke English, it would provide a kind of unity, but it woudl takje several decades to accomplish. Even second generation speakers of an adopted tongue are not fully fluent.
The Tower of Babel was destroyed by God when the language of all the people was the same. They started to build a tower to reach up to God and meet him face to face.
We are not all meant to speak one language. Variety and complexity and diversity is good.
Just my thoughts.
