Whats wrong with my leg?

Last Tuesday I woke up and my left leg was cramping. my calf feels heavy or like pressure. It has not stopped hurting and it's now been a week. I went to the walk-in clinic on Friday and the doctor felt on it and said that since it didn't hurt when he was pushing on it that he didn't think it was a blood clot and gave me some naproxen which didn't help really. Anyways, my leg cramps on my left calf and where I bend my leg at, it is not swollen or red but I can see some of my veins. I work at home on the computer so I will sit indian style alot and with my legs bent, I am also a 24 year old female. Do you think I should go back to the doctor or maybe I just pulled something somehow. Thanks!

Ok indian style sitting all day long thats bad for you man like really bad. For long periods of hours! try sitting normal for a week then see if it still hurts. when you sit indain style your putting all your body weight on your legs. DX not so good just try that.

If you sit for prolonged periods of time, it's a good idea to take small breaks regularly to walk and stretch out. Sittting lets blood pool in your legs and press against the valves in your saphenous veins weakening them and eventually leading to vascular reflux. Consider getting an ultrasound screening to see if you have vein disease; bulging varicose veins are often a symptom.
