I am unable to load my windows due to a problem with a corrupted drive. I am able to boot with cmd prompt to get into DOS. I can see all the folders and files I need to move but I haven t done it in years and can t remember how to copy an entire folder. I am trying to move my desktop contents to my SD card. I m using xcopy c:\users\****\desktop e: ....with **** being my windows login name and e: being the drive of my SD card. When I try it doesn t work. I d rather just try to copy the entire drive to my 256GB sd card so I tried xcopy c:\ e:\ /h/i/c/k/e/r/y but that says "unable to create directory. What am I doing wrong? Please help......I have the black screen of death with only a cursor. As soon as windows loads it goes to a black screen with cursor. I can t do anything thru windows and it took me forever to figure out how to get to my command prompt and I don t want to leave it for fear I may never get back and lose all my pictures and things. Is it possible to copy my desktop contents to an SD card dusing DOS? Is it possible to copy an entire drive to another one. Thanks in advance. I know I ve asked a lot but I m at a loss. I am looking for a high quality ultraviolet flashlight light that is super bright. I had a great one but mine no longer functions. I would like it to have a very long reach or "throw" So obects can be illuminated from at least 20 feet away. ill use it to find flourescent minerals. I would love to start using a metal detector around my property but can't figure out which one to buy. I would like a simple one (not a bunch of fancy settings and gadgets and electronic stuff) But I would like one that would yield excellent results. Any price will do. (I am a beginner but can learn quickly!)

I have a half acre pond which is very cloudy/dirty. (about 6 inches visibility) Its an established pond (about 10 yrs old) but it never gets clear. There is no water flow except for the drain pipe and whatever rain water comes. I was told a good pond fountain would help circulate the water dropping the dirt particles. So I would like to know the best options for clearing up my pond. Other info: pond is mostly surrounded by trees. Several blue gill, bass, 5 large coy(s)? (about 1-2 feet in length), snakes, frogs, craw dads, and stupid wolf spiders (if you have any help for eliminating the wolf spiders it would be appreciated they are destroying my banks causing it to deteriorate and fall in the pond) If a fountain or something else would help please provide sites to search. I need help finding the right telescope for me. I am a beginner to using one but am very excited to try one out. I am looking for one that is easy to use. The ability to find objects in the sky easily. I have seen some that you can program to find objects. I would like top of the line, great quality and excellent results. Cost does not matter. i downloaded a game...as a zip file...i unzipped it and there are 2 .cue and 2 .bin files...1 .bin and 1 .cue are for cd1 and the other .bin and .cue are for cd 2.... i tried burning them to a cd and running them but no luck...i would like to know how to run this game please help...total annihilation is waiting

My explorer is jerking when I turn the wheel sharply...I had new tires on back and old on front....took it to ford...they said that may be the problem...because we have automatic 4x4 and it thinks the tires are slipping...so we got new ones...that didnt fix it...changed transfer case fluid...that didnt fix it...though it was very burnt fluid...any suggestions? we had the control module fixed last year and some other 4x4 stuff $1200 worth

i have a 2002 explorer the 4x4 high light started blinking the other day. Yesterday I went out and it was really hard to turn my wheels, everytime it was like 4 wheel drive was trying to kick in and it was jerking and making a weird noise. Any ideas?

I am 10weeks 3 days pregnant andI have been having sharp pains above my pelvic bone for a couple days now, and I woke up this morning and it hurt to even touch my belly. I went into the doctor today to check and see if I had a UTI and it came back fine. So I asked them if it could be my cyst on my ovary so they gave me an ultrasound . My cyst used to 7cm and she said was filled with 100cc of fluid and its down to 8 which is good. She said it looked like it was popping or rupturing and that was why my stomach was sore to touch b.c there was fluid in there. She said that if it is still hurting on Thursday to come back in. Well when I got home I looked it up and everywhere I looked it says when one ruptures you should be put on antibiotics to prevent infection. And now I am worried b/c they didn't give me anything and didn't even mention anything about infection!! Have any of you ever had a cyst rupture and they never gave you anything for it?

My husband and I have been trying for about 6 months now and I finally got a positive today!! I know I need to call the doctor but who do I call my family doctor or find a ob/gyn and call them just to have them confirm it? I am confused and not sure what the next step is. Thanks!!

Last Tuesday I woke up and my left leg was cramping. my calf feels heavy or like pressure. It has not stopped hurting and it's now been a week. I went to the walk-in clinic on Friday and the doctor felt on it and said that since it didn't hurt when he was pushing on it that he didn't think it was a blood clot and gave me some naproxen which didn't help really. Anyways, my leg cramps on my left calf and where I bend my leg at, it is not swollen or red but I can see some of my veins. I work at home on the computer so I will sit indian style alot and with my legs bent, I am also a 24 year old female. Do you think I should go back to the doctor or maybe I just pulled something somehow. Thanks!

I recently formatted my hdd on my acer 3680 laptop....so i loaded vista back on from my OS disk.....it gets about half way through and says windows needs to restart to finalize installation....it restarts and says ..kernel debugger dll is corrupt or missing.....and sometimes when it restarts it says missing boot mgr...i know a little about this stuff....but im outta my league now....any help out there?

I am replacing a crashed hard drive in my lap top...Acer 3680...my old hard drive is beyond repair...and has been made worse by friends...i have the windows vista CD that came with it...but that's it...no drivers or anything. My question is if i install the new hard drive in my comp...what do i need to do to make it work right? P.S. I have no backups or anything like that.

Today is Tuesday and last Saturday I let my 7 year old beagle out to use the bathroom. She has been acting strange every since. She has been panting really bad and she is shaking or shivering, she also looks like she is having a hard time walking around. I thought maybe she pulled a muscle or something so I was giving it a couple days to see if she would get better before taking her to the vet. Yesterday she seemed to feel better, but then last night when it was time for bed she started panting again really loudly and shaking and kept walking around, but this morning she seems better again. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

I have a 2002 Ford Explorer that recently the door ajar light stays on and never goes off. Also when the door is open the power locks and power mirror works but when I close the door, they no longer function on the drivers side. The power windows still work though. The locks work on all the other doors when closed just the drivers side stops working when the door gets closed. Any ideas on what could be causing theses problems and the cost it may take to fix it? I am trying to get some information on where to find these things. My boyfriend had his 25th birthday recently so he has to get a new license. We live in WV but he moved here from Ohio, so he has to get a WV license now. I called the DMV and they said he needed a Driving Record from Ohio, and a Certified Birth Certficate. Do we have to drive to Ohio to get these things? We are right on the border of Ohio, but the part he was from is 2 hrs away, can we just go to the DMV thats closets to get it?
