Why do we consume milk?
As mammals we should not be taking milk after we are weaned but we do. Moreover we drink the milk of a cow. Why?
If we were to live the natural life we would not eat dairy at all, just like any other mammal, let alone one which has 4 stomachs.
Dear C.M.C I do eat and drink dairy products. What I am asking is why do we (descendants of Europeans) consume it in such quantity when it clearly is not a natural thing for Mammals to do?

Alister, you have to be another one of these so called bright sparks. Do you have ice cream, do you eat cookies and cakes with all that cream? Do you have milk shakes or thick shakes or put milk in coffee or tea, and what about hot chocolates?
If you said no to all of those your a liar.

Correct, most humans don't need milk after their young years because milk is a great source of calcium for growing bones but after that stage you are able to get calcium elsewhere. This is why many people are lactose-intolerant because you're right, we don't "need" dairy. But in saying that it's a good source of vitamins ie) calcium.

because it is normal for a human to be lactose intolerant, but believe it or not,you have an unusaul grnetic trait if you can drink it after infancy
