Ways to earn community service hours?
I'm on the honor society at my school, and to stay on it we need to have at least 25 hours of community service by the end of the year. What or where are some ways or places that I could get service hours from? (I know that helping out at school events and fundraisers is going to be a big one, but we are only allowed to get 10 hours from school, so I need other places.) THANK YOU! (:

Almost anywhere, it doesn't even have to be official organizations. You can help any elderly in your neighborhood with cleaning, raking leaves, shoveling snow. Or you can go to places like soup kitchens, retirement homes, etc. I also got community service hours for torturing, ask any of your old teachers if they have any students you could stay after with (you can even go to your old middle school teachers).

What counts as community service is determined by your school policies. Informal helping, especially that of family members does not count.
If you are located in the US go to this site for places you can go to get in those hours.

Sometimes churches have opportunities. Try one.
