Should I buy a minivan or a Jeep Liberty 2008 or a 2009 Chrysler town and country van... I’m a mom of two ?

I worked for a Chrysler dealership for 23 years during the time the mini van was introduced. I personally owned 3 myself and moms everywhere LOVED them. Also, of all the products Chrysler produced, the minivan was their flagship! The fist one I bought lasted well over 250,000 miles and when I sold it, it was still running great!

PERSONALLY I would get a great used AUDI Q5. But between these TWO choices , I would NEVER get the LIBERTY as the 3.7 engine is a JUNK MOTOR with rocker arm issues! The dealers have BINS full of replacement ROCKER ARMS! GOOD Thin they do NOT make that lousy engine any more! The WATER PUMPS are like TINKER TOYS! ALSO consider a TOYOTA or used HONDA suv or even a BMW used SAV! ONE THING I like about the CHRYSLER is that it has VERY NICE FEATURES on  board! But they AGAIN are not SUPER fuel efficient! AN AUDI TURBO DIESEL will get 40 + MPG all day long and last to 500,000 miles! The LIBERTY is done mechanically by 80,000 miles! It is WHY AMERICA can NEVER be great again! Our companies want PROFITS over QUALITY< over and OVER again! GM is ANOTHER waste of time! TOYOA RAV 4, is GREAT! If you work for CHRYSLER< that's ONE THING< but I would get a FORD EDGE or ESCAPE before EITHER of these choices! The EDGE is HALF FORD and HALF AUDI, just like the FUSION is HALF FORD and HALF MAZDA!

No. Buy a Honda Odyssey or Toyota Prelude minivan. More reliable.

I would go with a 3 row suv as they are much safer then a mini van. I would look into the Toyota highlander, Honda pilot, or a Ford explorer.

Avoid Chrysler products unless you like spending time in repair shops. If you want a van, the Toyota Sienna is pretty hard to beat. If you want to go the SUV route, you should look at a RAV4, or a Highlander if you want something a little bigger.

Personally, I would go with a Highlander. I has plenty of passenger room, and a nice amount of cargo space.
