Is the Chrysler 300 a good car for a bigger guy?

I was wondering how would a 6'0 guy, around 400lbs, would fit in a 2010 Chrysler 300? Is it a snug fit? How's the headroom and legroom? Is it uncomfortable, or is there plenty of room?

I am currently asking because I don't have a way to test it out in person at the moment, and I was wondering if someone would know by experience, or maybe has a friend who is bigger who has a Chrysler 300?

Damn 400 pounds? you should be forced to walk to work if you don't wanna die soon. You don't need a car in heaven.

Your height is no problem at all.

But no car is specifically designed for drivers who weigh well in excess of 28 stone (1 stone = 14 pounds).

You can expect problems with the seat, with getting the steering wheel into a position close enough to use but free of getting stuck against your belly.

You will probably need a longer seatbelt. You may well need to uprate the suspension. That is a known weak point on all 300s and they often need the front springs replaced much earlier than on other similarly-sized cars .

The 300 is not a well-built car; it looks far more impressive than it truly is. Interior trim is pretty shoddily attached.

When they were sold in the UK they also had a reputation for suffering cracked front seat mountings to the floorpan. That always required removal of the front seats and carpets and brazing or welding the cracks. But our 300s were mostly built in Austria so I do not know whether US market 300s had the same fault.

People of your size are still not all that common, and people of your size rarely carry their excess weight the same way. So you’re only going to know if the 300 is right for you by sitting in one, and hopefully by persuading a seller to allow you a test drive.

I’ve perhaps been unfair in assuming that your weight is due to gross obesity, but even if you’re built like an old-school muscular circus strongman your weight and overall bulk will be difficult for any unmodified car to comfortably/safely accommodate.

    Good luck with your search.

The Chrysler 300 isn't a good car for anyone.

You'll fit in the car but then you'll have to deal with all the front suspension problems they are known to have.

The Chrysler 300 is notoriously unreliable. You would have better luck with a Crown Vic or a Grand Marquis. They're nice and roomy and they last forever if you take decent care them.

One of them more comfortable cars for a big guy I am 6'7" 260 - I drove a lot of 2017-2000 300s in a job and loved them - but beware - a 10 year old Dodge is just trouble waiting to happen. Great cars for 3-5 years -  but after that all bets are off.
