Is there any way to reveal who called using No Caller ID?

I was sexually harassed last night by an unknown number.

I went to AT&T and the police, but they have no way of revealing who was being the *67 call.

Is there any software I can use to reveal the number used?

It was a really disturbing call, and I don’t want it to happen again

Buy a telephone message machine which will answer your phone with a recorded message. Only pick up if you recognize the number. Others such as unknowns can leave a message. Simple solution at lo cost.

As others have stated, no software exists that will help you find the number.  I am answering to add a note, you should NEVER answer a call that says "No Caller ID" Never ever.  AND you now know one of the reasons why.  I'm sorry this happened to you and hope that this helps.

No. If it were that simple, don't you think the police or AT&T would already have access to that software?

Even if you could reveal the number somehow, it would be useless. It's trivial to generate new "burner" numbers, or the harasser could just buy a cheap pre-paid phone from any convenience store.

Sorry, I have caller ID and mine shows the #, but not always a name.  Usually, not a name, if it is sketchy at all.  Sometimes it shows a city and the weird thing is that I think there is a lot of that spoofing going on because, it will have an area code and an exchange (what we always called the 3 numbers after the area code) that look like it is local, REALLY local, but when I look it up online, it can be hundreds of miles away.  If I don't recognize the #, I don't answer, or I will hang up.  Usually when they are selling me something, they will not speak right away, so after I answer "Hello" a couple three times, I hang up on them.

I signed up with the government's, DO NOT CALL LIST.  Sadly, they say they don't have time to check them all out.  In the old days, if someone was doing that to you, (we didn't have that tech to see who it was) the sheriff's dept or police dept, or the phone co., could put a tracing device on your phone and find them.  I know because we had to do that with someone who would call and stay on the line for long periods, etc.  It turned out to be juveniles, they were already in a continuation school, and the investigator at the sheriff's, had the parents and kids go in.  I remember them saying that one of the parents had a record, so they KNEW it would stop.  It did. If they keep doing it to you, I would keep going to the cops or phone co.  I had a vulgar call in the middle of the night, once and yes, it is disturbing.  Sometimes it is just someone who is in a bar. But, it makes you wonder if you know them, like someone you work with, or a neighbor.  I thought mine was one of those two choices.  Suggestion:  I would act as though you are also on the line with an official and say something that makes them think they are being investigated.  Sometimes you can bluff out weirdoes like that.  Good luck.  No one needs their security upset at anytime, esp. now.

The only person that would help it would cost more than its worth you should be able to block further abuse. The caller not so much.

No, although you can ask your provider to block anonymous calls, if you do then if anyone tried to phone you anonymously they just hear a recorded message saying they have to phone back without withholding their number.
