why is my left thigh numb?

since a week now my left thigh has been numb starting from my lower back down to my left thigh. there's no tingling but its numb.. and as much as i hate to admit.. i eat very little (600 calories a day) and recntly my left thigh has been bearing the brunt of my my cutting habits as well...

why is it numb?? i'm 20/female/130 pounds/5'5" , blood tests and eyesight normal..

Update:

the cuts healed up and the numbness came up 2 weeks after that. my spine also pains alot

    you may be suffering from some nerve compression, may be some spinal problem, get it checked, the problem you are suffering from, its not related to your calorie intake, you must take full calories, otherwise you may suffer a lot in later life, for any of medical related problems visit http://www.wacky5.com/ for online medical consultation

    I've had medical problems from not eating very much. Tell this to the doctor. Don't worry about the calories just eat what you like and healthy. I wonder if there is a problem with your blood cells. A doctor would know what to ask and what tests to run. If the doc doesn't help go to another. Some doctors really SUCK!!!

    If you really only eat 600 calories a day, you have bigger problems than numbness. you have an eating disorder and should seek medical attention immediately. You probably damaged the nerves by cutting.
