If so, what drug did you react to and how long did it take you to recover from the reaction? I've been reading in some places that it can take some people over a week to recover from a reaction. I'm hoping and praying that it doesn't take me that long to recover from mine. And yes, I've discussed the problem with my doctor.

I have done it before, but found that it didn't work out well for me. He had a great personality, but there just wasn't any chemistry there.

Feel privileged and/or honored when a person trusts you enough to allow themselves to cry in your presence?

When your intuition tells you that something isn't quite square about another person (even though, externally, they seem like an absolutely wonderful person), do you trust it, or do you shove it aside? If you've ever disregarded your intuition about someone, has it ever resulted in you or someone else getting hurt?

Whenever I hear someone say this, my first thought is always that they are trying desperately to convince themselves that they really have turned out well, even though nothing could be further from the truth. Thoughts?

This is something I've always wondered. I've gone to a number of weddings without a date myself, and I've never felt embarrassed. Why is it that so many women find this embarrassing? Men don't have a problem going alone themselves.

How many of you sit around after a conversation you've had that hasn't gone well, and obsess about all the stupid things you said?

What is it about quiet people that you find intimidating and/or unlikeable? One of the most common complaints that I've heard is that more outgoing people can't tell what quiet people are thinking, and they're afraid that the quiet people are assessing them and making plans of some kind. As a quiet person myself (by choice, most of the time), I can tell you that this is not the case. We're not out to get you, nor are we silently sitting there and judging you.

Hello, all! I'm an INFJ myself, and I have some questions for those of you who believe in the MBTI test, at least somewhat, and find it interesting.

- First of all, please share your type.

- Those of you who favor your thinking function: How do you find that you get along with those who favor their feeling side? Do you find the feeling approach to the world to be a valid one, and why or why not? Do you ever find yourself looking down on feelers for being weak or soft-hearted? What advantages do you have as a thinker?

- For those who favor your feeling function: How do you get along with those who favor their thinking side? Do you ever feel that there is a bias against feelers in our American culture? What advantages do you have as a feeler?

Okay, this is a second attempt for a question I asked yesterday. It seems that no one on Answers has ever had experience with someone who has Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder (OCPD). So here is my question again, with a broader base for responses:

Please share your experiences of living with a family member who suffers from a personality disorder (of any kind). How have your experiences affected your personal development? Have you ever had to go through counseling in order to resolve traumas associated with this person? What kinds of things did you do to protect yourself once you realized that this person was a toxic influence? Were you ever able to successfully convince this person that he/she had a problem and should seek counseling?

I recently had an answer deleted for no good reason at all. I'm still waiting to hear specific reasons for why they deleted my answer, but I don't expect to get any. The first answer they sent to my inquiry was deliberately evasive.

Anyway, I just find it interesting that they would delete one of my answers but allow answers from posters like Jackal and the Astaroth imposter to remain up. My answer was somewhat pointed, but in comparison to the trollish responses that are proliferating on here lately, it was quite benign.

I'm curious to hear stories from any of you who've had similar experiences with the YA moderators.

BTW, it's not losing the points that bothers me about this. It's the obvious hypocrisy and double standards.
