Is it normal for a 9-10 month old to catch chills?
Our 10 month old has been catching occassional chills for about a month now. (what we've noticed) He visibly is getting a chill, like he vibrates briefly out of nowhere. It doesn't matter what the temp is in the house, he still gets them. seems like one or maybe more a day.
(No fever and it doesn't seem to bother him.)
Have you exerienced this?

Our 8month old has a red patch in his armpit. It's about the size of a dime and slightly raised (bright pink) it doesn't seem to be tender or
bother him, but it came out of nowhere and his mother is alarmed.
Has anyone seen anything like this with your kids? thanks.

11 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade ago7 month old has spot of blood?
Our 7mo. old has had a spot of blood in his diaper 2-3 times in the last week. The first time his grandmother convinced us it was a spot of sweet potato that he must have put his hand in the front of his diaper. Today he has had a spot twice. They are very small mind you, kind of pinkish orange smaller than a dime right in front of the diaper where he pees.
We have already talked to the physicians office tonight and are taking him in in the morning. (today is Sunday)
What I really wish I could do is tell my wife this is something common and not to be alarmed. She is having anxiety over it. Anyone seen it before?
